Elliot Jordan

Elliot Charles Jordan, Sr., age 56 of Marksville, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, La. He is survived by his sons, Elliot Pete Jordan, Jr.Brenda, Clayton Dewayne Jordan, Sr.Charlene, James Kirk Jordan, Sr.Glenda all of Marksville, and Brian Keith Jordan of Dallas, TX.; daughters, Vanlissa Jordan of Marksville, and Kila Ronnell Jordan of Dallas, TX.; sister, Irma Hudson of Marksville; nephew, Paul JamesCarolyn of Marksville; 23 grandchilren, and 1 great-grandchild; a host of many nieces nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Author Lavalais and Hazel Jordan; brothers, James Lavalais, and Forrest Boyer; sisters, Ella Mae Lavalais, Ida Lavalais, Genevive Lavalais, Katherine Lavalais, and Romaine Martinez; grand daughter, Miracle Jordan; great-nephew, Eric James. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm, Friday, October 30th, 2009 with Funeral Services to follow at 7:00pm, at St. John Community Baptist Church in Marksville with Rev. Charles Guillory officiating. A Dismissal Service will be held at 9:00am, Saturday, October 31st, 2009, at St. John Community Cemetery in Marksville under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura. He will be sadly missed by many friends and family that will eternally cherish his memory.
