Funeral services for Elnora Hayes Mills will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at St. John Community Baptist Church in Marksville with interment following at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012, from 9 a.m. 11 a.m. at St. John Community Baptist Church.
Elnora Mills, age 87 of Marksville, passed away at Valley View Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 23, 2012.
She is preceded in death by her father, Talton Hayes and her mother, Rosa Reeves Hayes.
She is survived by three sons, James Dorian Mills of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Voorhies Mills of Pontiac, Michigan and Perry Gene Mills of Marksville one daughter, Rosemary Dave Greenhouse of Pontiac, Michigan three brothers, Freeman Hayes of Cottonport, Lewis Hayes of Cottonport and Lyman Hayes of Evergreen two sisters, Cathy Connors and Bertha Hayes, both of Houston, Texas 21 grandchildren 11 greatgrandchildren three greatgreat grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews and friends and special friend, Sister Betty Daranda.
Arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
