Elsie Lacour

Funeral services for Elsie Mae Lacour of Mansura will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 beginning at 10am at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 beginning at 5pm until 8pm and will resume Friday morning at 8am at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery in Mansura. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Elsie Mae Lacour, age 96, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Riviere de Soleil Nursing Home in Mansura. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murray Lacour; parents, Norma & Amemthe Armand; and numerous siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald Lacour of Montgomery, AL and Patrick Lacour of Mansura; daughters, Janice Lacour of Baton Rouge and Muriel Gaspard of Echo. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
