Elson Ortego

Elson C. Ortego, age 83, of Plaucheville, LA, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville, LA. He was the son of the late Elgy Ortego and the late Louise Ortego He is survived by one son, Phillip Ortego of Plaucheville, LA; three sisters, Marjorie Guillett of Cottonport, LA, Olean Celestin of Plaucheville, LA and Theresa Ortego of New Orleans, LA; one brother, Franklin Ortego of Plaucheville, LA; six grand children and ten great-grand children Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2008 until time of service Thursday in the Church Hall. Funeral service will be at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 18, 2008. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Dupont, LA Arrangements are being handled by Escude Funeral Home of Mansura, LA
