Funeral service for Elton Ray Mills of Deville will begin at 4:00pm on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the First Baptist church in Dupont with Rev. Mark Desoto officiating. Burial will follow at the First Baptist Church in Dupont.

Elton Mills, age 59, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at his home in Deville.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Darla Laird of Greer, SC. and RoseAnne Lasyone of Deville; nieces, Santana Keen of Colfax and Cheyene Bordelon of South Carolina; nephews, Clay Thompson, Jr. of Deville and Elvin Ray Lasyone of Deville. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include: Donald Littleton, Elvin Ray Lasyone, Merlin Mills, Jr., Ean Ebert, Robert Smith and Tyler Sells; honorary pallbearers are, Clay Thompson, Jr. and Tony Paul.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin & Muriel Clay Mills; paternal grandparents, Elvin & Mae Mills; and maternal grandparents, Charles & Freida Clay.

A visitation will begin at 8:30am until 4:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Dupont.
