Funeral services for Elvin Joseph P.T. Cooper of Moreauville will take place at the St. Peters Catholic Church of Bordelonville on Saturday, May 1, 2010, beginning at 1:00pm. Visitations will be held at the St. Peters Catholic Church Hall prior to the funeral, beginning at 8:00am until time of the service. Burial services will commence at the St. Peters Cemetery.
Elvin P.T. Cooper, age 89, passed away at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital on Thursday, April 29, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Delva Cooper 1st wife, Luman Cooper grandchildren, Bruce Lemoine Floyd Juneau, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Melba B. Cooper of Bordelonville daughters, Elva Juneau of Mansura, Sandra Gauthier of Mansura, Clara Chatelain of Moureaville stepson, Eddie Bordelon of Cottonport sisters, Sybil Charrier of Bordelonville, Mildred Desselle of Moreauville. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren, twentyfive greatgrandchildren, six greatgreatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will include Dirk Juneau, Kiefer Rose, Kenneth Smith, Sr., Tim Roshto, Scott Chatelain, Lance Chatelain crossbearer, Jonathan Mire.
