Elvin Mills

Funeral services for Elvin Ray Mills of Dupont will take place at the First Baptist Church of Dupont on Friday, December 2, 2011, beginning at 2:00pm with Rev Joshua L. Eldredge officiating and Brother Larry Thibodeaux assisting. Visitations will also be held at the church, prior to the funeral service, from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Burial services will commence at the church cemetery.
Elvin Mills, age 73, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife, Muriel Ann Mills parents, Elvin Mae Marie Bonnette Mills brother, Edwin Mills, Sr. sisters, Ovada Boyer, Gertrude Solar. He is survived by his children, Elton Mills of Deville, Darla Rae Mills Bordelon of Pineville, Rose Ann Lassyone of Cotile Lake brothers, Merlin J. Mills of Dupont, William Mills of Bunkie, Dale Mills of Church Point. He is also survived by four grandchildren nine greatgrandchildren.
