Funeral services for Emery Knott of Plaucheville will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 12pm at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall in Dupont. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 from 9am until 12pm at the church hall in Dupont. Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Dupont. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Emery Knott, age 65, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville on Sunday, January 19, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Ferdie, Sr. Marie Knott his brother, Gerald Knott and his sister, Brenda Knott.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son Errol Knott of Gonzales his daughters, Stacey Knott of Simmesport, Emily K. Bottrell of Shreveport, and Paula K. Juneau of Las Vegas, NV his brothers, Leroy Knott of Plaucheville, Joseph Knott of Dupont, Carol Knott of Bodoc, and Michael Knott of Dupont his sisters, Nellie Dauzat of Hessmer and Shirley St. Romain of Dupont. He also leaves seven grandchildren.
