Emily Guillory

Funeral services for Emily Guillory of Plaucheville will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 beginning at 10am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont with Fr. George Krosfield officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 beginning at 5pm until 10pm at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall of Dupont. Burial will be at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Plaucheville.
Emily Guillory, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Opelousas General Hospital. Mrs. Emily was a lifelong parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church and a dedicated Alter Society Member.
Mrs. Emily was preceded in death by her husband James Ned Guillory, Sr., her parents Adolph Odelia Lachney, her sister Agnes Mayeux, and her three brothers, Cilton Lachney, Wade Lachney and Hamilton Lachney.
She is survived by four sons, James Jim Guillory, Jr., Ricky Guillory, Glenn Guillory and Chris Guillory all of Plauchville two brothers, Rouman Lachney of Plaucheville and Victor Lachney of Moreauville one sister, Constance Lemoine. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and nineteen greatgrandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
