Emily Lemoine

Emily Oubre Lemoine, a resident of Big Bend, passed away at her home in Moreauville on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the age of 87. Those who are left to cherish her memories are her two daughters, Jeanette Abel and Charlotte Pellegrin her husband Marcel Pellegrin, Jr. She is also survived by her five grandchildren Angela, Tammy, Jessica, Ashley, Megan ten greatgrandchildren, Tiffany, Josh, Breanna, Cassidy, Ryan, Brandon, Hunter, Chase, Zoey, Jolie and two greatgreatgrandchildren, Sara Carson. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Bryon P. Lemoine her parents, Sylvester Oubre , Sr. Zoeline Ockmond Oubre four brothers, Jean, Sylvester, Jr., Guy, Nolan five sisters, Hilda, Beulah, Lucy, Enola, Esperance.
Funeral services for Emily O. Lemoine will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the St. Michaels Catholic Church on Rexmere beginning at 11:00am. Visitation will take place on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the St. Peters Catholic Church Hall of Bordelonville from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery of Rexmere.
