Funeral services for Emma McGlory of Marksville will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Congregational First Baptist Church of Marksville at 11:00am. Visitation will be held that morning beginning at 9:30am until time of the service at the church. Emma McGlory, age 64, passed away at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Thursday, May 21, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents; Robert Williams Mary Scott Williams. She is survived by; husband, Alfred McGlory, Sr. of Marksville; son, Alfred McGlory of Marksville; daughters, Mary Ann M. Jones of Marksville, Helen Rose McGlory of Marksville, Betty Jean Jacobs of Jacksonville, FL, Aretha Moore of Marksville, Ruby Jean McGlory of Cottonport, Alfreda Batiste of Marksville; sister Mary Louise Joseph of Marksville; brother, Henry Smith of Marksville. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Gregory Strawberry McGlory, Johnny Lee McGlory, Derrick Lee McGlory, Phillip OBrian McGlory, Terry Lynn McGlory, Jeffery Brad McGlory, Jimmie Lee McGlory, Jerome Michael Jacobs.
