Services for Mrs. Emma Cooper Moreau will be at St. Peter Ctholic Church, Bordelonville on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 2 p.m, with Msgr. Steve Testa officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, Bordelonville under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura. Mrs. Moreau, age 89, of Plaucheville, died Sunday, August 5, 2007 in Ville Platte Medical Center, Ville Platte. She is survived by her daughter, Eveleen Moreau McCann and husband Richard of Plaucheville; sisters, Mildred Desselle of Moreauville, Sybil Charrier of Bordelonville; brother, Elvin P. T. Cooper of Bordelonville; foster son, Will Cooper of Thibodaux; grand- daughter, Jan Moberg of Texas; grandson, Steven McCann of Luling. Mrs. Moreau was preceded in death by her husband, Emerick Nick Moreau; daughter, Verdie Mae Moreau; son, Cleveland Moreau; father, Issac Cooper; mother, Marie Bordelon Cooper; brothers, Wilmer, Laurie, Ernest Cooper; sister, Vernice Ortego. Visitation will be at St. Peters Church Hall in Bordelonville on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 5 pm. to 9 p.m. with a RosaryWake service at 6 p.m. Visitation will re-open Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 8 a.m. until time of services.
