Funeral services for Erna Antoine Bordelon of Plaucheville will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont on Thursday, January 17, 2013, beginning at 1:00pm with Father Charles Morgan officiating. Visitation will also take place Thursday, from 9:00am to 1:00pm, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial services will commence at the St. Mary Catholic Mausoleum 2.
Erna Bordelon, age 90, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home of Dupont on Monday, January 14, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita Marcotte Bordelon parents, Rushian Anita Firmin Bordelon sister, Vera Bordelon. He is survived by his son, Michael James Bordelon wife Eva of Plaucheville grandchildren, Amanda Norad husband Randy, Rushian Bordelon wife Amanda greatgrandchild, Anita Norad sister, Rose Mary Bordelon of Plaucheville.
