Esma Andrew

Funeral services Esma Young Andrew of Mansura will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 beginning at 11am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 beginning at 5pm until 10pm at the Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with a Rosary wake service at 8pm; the visitation will resume Saturday morning at 8am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Esma "Boo Boo" Andrew was a wonderful, loving, devoted, concerned and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She departed this life on June 17, 2015 in her home in Mansura, LA. She was born January 23, 1938 to the late Alton and Louanne Augustine Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her son, Reginald Young; brother, Shelton Benjamin; and sister, Ella Mae Benjamin Sampson.
Those left to mourn her passing are four sons: Ervin Young (Samantha) of Marksville, Bruce Young (Sharon) of Mansura, Robert Young (Permela Withfield) of Grand Prairie, TX; Christopher Young & wife Jackie of Marksville; two sisters, Beaulh Dupas of Mansura and Inez Batiste of Long Bridge; three aunts: Teresa Johnson, Edna Murray and Eunice Washington; uncle, Rapheal Augustine; two special nieces, Debra Jacobs & Elizabeth Barton; daughter-in-law, Jackie Young; two special friends; niece, Linda Weaver and cousin, Louise "TT" Prier. She also leaves behind seventeen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
