Funeral services for Eugene G. Gaspard of Dupont will be on Saturday, July 20, 2013 beginning at 10:30am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont with Fr. Jacob Thomas officiating. Entombment will commence at the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Firday, July 19, 2013 beginning at 4pm until 10pm and will reopen Saturday morning at 8am. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Mr. Eugene G. Gaspard, age 79, passed away at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria on Thursday, July 18, 2013. Mr. Gaspard was preceded in death by his parents Murphy Mabel Gaspard, his son Timmy Gaspard, and his brother Elliot Gaspard. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Dora Gaspard of Plaucheville, his son Danny Gaspard of New Orleans, his brother Normand Gaspard and his sister Voneal McDonald both of Picayune, MS, and two grandchildren, Michelle McNeal and Matthew Gaspard.
