Funeral services for Eva Mae Townsend of New Orleans will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church in Innis. Visitation will take place Saturday morning from 11:30- 12:30 also at the church. Interment will commence in the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Eva Mae Townsend, age 75, passed away on Sunday October 30, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in New Orleans. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Olivia Johnson Townsend, Sr.; sister, Olivia J. Townsend; brother, Clarence Townsend, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Donnie Ray Parker and Gregory Parker both of New Orleans; sister, Christine Lanehart of Lettsworth; brother, J.B. Johnson of New Orleans. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Keisha Parker and Gregriana Brown.
