Felice Viguerie

Felice Lemoine Viguerie, 71, passed away Monday, November 9, 2009. Beloved wife of Daniel A. Viguerie. She was born in Mansura, LA to her late parents Norma Bordelon Lemoine and Albin McKinley Lemoine. Felice is survived by her husband; daughters, Felice Viguerie Killian John Hume, Kathleen Viguerie Banta Benjamin H. and Danielle Amelie Viguerie; grandchildren Felice Killian, Campbell and Paige Banta; brothers Ignatius, Michael, Albin Lemoine; sisters Jeanne Bonnette, Margaret Newton, Carol DeMars, Norma Sherman. Felice graduated Northwestern State University in 1960 with her Bachelors in Education and then furthered her studies at Laval in Qubec. She taught in the Catholic school system for 30 years. Felice worked at the Adult Education Center in New Orleans, LA in the 1960's and 1970's where she helped women obtain secretarial skills for job placement. Felice was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her children and grandchildren, and will be missed deeply. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Paul's the Apostle Catholic Church, 1879 Leglise Street, Mansura, LA 71350, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2009. Interment will follow at St. Paul's the Apostle Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, and then on Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Escude Funeral Home.
