Felton Joseph Kidder

Felton Kidder, age 78 of Bayou Jack, passed away at the Lafayette General Hospital on Sunday, January 7^th, 2024.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Thursday, January 11^th, 2024 until time of service at 12:00pm. A rosary will be recited before the service at 11:15am. Funeral service for Felton Kidder will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport on Thursday, January 11^th, 2024 beginning at 12:00pm with Rev. Charlie Ray officiating. Burial will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Dupont.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Stacy Campbell (Danny) and Anthony “Tony” Kidder (Laura); grandchildren, Michael Campbell (Chasity), Shea Bujol (Dustin), Hunter Kidder (Casey), and Caelyn Kidder (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Brylie, Beckett, Karsynn, Kynslee, Sutton, Bryson, Kamryn, “Little” Bryson, Silas, and Delainey. He is also survived by his sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Suthard, Linda Savage, Carolyn Aymond, and Gail Carter; and his companion for 18 years, Janice Dupre.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph & Eula Kidder; and siblings, Howard Kidder, Harold Kidder, and Geri Clarke.

Those honored to serve as his pallbearers include: Michael Campbell, Dustin Bujol, “T-Boy” Dalgo, Paul Cormier, Hunter Kidder, and Caelyn Kidder.
