Florence Couvillon

Services for Florence Marie Dupont Couvillon will be at 11 a.m. on January 17, 2011 at Chrsit the King Catholic Church, Simmesport with Msgr. John Timmermans officiating. Burial will be in Christ The King Mausoleum in Simmesport under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport.

Mrs. Couvillon, 91, of Simmesport, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Center, Simmesport on January 14, 2011.

She is survived by four sons, Paul Alfred Couvillon of Simmesport, Warren Couvillon of Starkville, Mississippi, Dale Couvillon of Ethel and James E. Couvillon of Simmesport daughter, Sandra C. Landry of Baton Rouge two brothers, Clayton Dupont of Forth Worth, Texas and Dr. Irby Dupont of Baton Rouge sister, Betty D. Stevenson of Baton Rouge fourteen grandchildren twenty five great grandchildren one greatgreat grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Lee Dupont and Edwin Dupont father, Alfred Dupont mother, Blanche Dupont and husband, T. Edward Couvillon.

Visitation will be at Escude Funera Home of Simmesport form 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 16th and reopen the following day January 17, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Rosary will be held Sunday, January 16 at 6:30 p.m.
