Floyd Ryder

Services for Floyd Ryder of Plaucheville will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport with the Rev. Bobby Cazelot officiating. Burial will be in the Bayou Jack Cemetery. Floyd Ryder, 64, died at Opelousas General Hospital on October 22, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Alice Ryder and a God-child Christopher Clark. Survivors include his son Rusty Ryder of Plaucheville; brothers, Jessie Ryder of Opelousas, Douglas Ryder of Big Cane and Allen Ryder of Plaucheville and a sister, Ann Clark of Plaucheville. Pallbearers will be Rusty Ryder, Logan Delafosse, Lane Delafosse, Jason Richard, Gary Eishtadt and Todd Ryder; honorary pallbearers will be Jessie Ryder, Douglas Ryder and Michael Francois. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2008 and from 8 a.m. until time of service Saturday October 25, 2008. Arrangements under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport.
