Fred Juneau

Funeral services for Fred Joseph Juneau of Mansura will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 beginning at 11am at the St. Pauls Catholic Church of Mansura with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura on Thursday, November 21, 2013 beginning at 8am until 11am. Burial will be held at the St. Paul Mausoleum in Mansura.
Fred Joseph Juneau, age 91, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Oak Mont Estates of Mansura.
Mr. Juneau was retired from the Rural U.S. Post Office and he was a DDay Veteran in World War II in the 28th Infantry Division of the Army, Unit 447 AAA. Also, he was a member of the Mansura American Legion 320, a member of the V.F.W. and D.A.V. of Mansura, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bessie Villemarette Juneau his brother John Juneau and his parents Oscar Volcie Juneau. Those left to cherish his memory are his four sons: Ronald J. Juneau of Baton Rouge, LA, Stephen R. Juneau of Woodville, TX, Keith Juneau of Collierville, TN, and Randy J. Juneau of The Woodlands, TX and his daughter Peggy Juneau of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
