Funeral services for Gaston Carmouche will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Mansura with Father Martin Laird officiating. Burial will follow at St. Pauls Catholic Cemetery in Mansura. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura on Friday, May 17, 2013, from 5 p.m. 9 p.m. It will resume on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 8 a.m. with a wake service at 9 p.m.
Gaston Carmouche, age 68 of Mansura, passed away at Colonial Nursing Home on Thursday, May 9, 2013.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Rosetta Farrow.
He is survived by eight sisters, Theresa Turner of Dallas, Texas, Alice Holmes of Dallas, Texas, Dorothy Lambert of Houston, Texas, Irma Alexander of Mansura, Mary Carmouche of Mansura, Irlene Carmouche of Marksville, Brenda Carmouche of Marksville and Marie Berzat of Houston, Texas and six brothers, Michael Carmouche of Tyler, Texas, Felton Carmouche, Jr. of Houston, Texas, Charles Carmouche of Lecompte, Albert Carmouche of Detroit, Michigan, Lionel Carmouche of Cottonport and Jimmie Carmouche of Bunkie.
