Geneva Murray Darander, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Matthews Memorial Nursing Home in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Susie Ann Darander, Floyd Darander, Eddie Darander, & Clifton Emeric Darander; 10 grandchildren: Rasheldo Darander, Mesha Howard, Ann Lipede, Alesha Lipede, William Lipede, Tyrone Howard, Shanetra Howard, Clifton Wade, Ta’leah George, Eddricka Fleming-Franklin; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Murray of Mansura, Louella Wilson of Mansura, Evelyn Wells of Beaumont, Dorothy Mae Winchester of Baton Rouge, Davis Murray of Beaumont, Manuel Murray of Rayne.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Paul Darander; parents, Cleveland Murray, Sr. & Ceola Tally Murray; siblings, Ceola Ann Murray, Mary Morris, Sims Murray, & Cleveland Murray, Jr.
