George Rabalais

Services for George Dale Rabalais will be held 10:00a.m. Friday, May 4, 2007 at St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport with Father Anthony Dhamaraj officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery 1 under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport. Mr. Rabalais age 79, of Paris, Texas, died April 30, 2007. He is survived by his brother and sisters, Gordon Joseph Rabalais of Richardson, Texas, Joyce Rabalais Halback of Madison, Mississippi, Judith Berryl Rabalais Scola of Waldwick, New Jersey, and Janice Theresa Rabalais Galvan of Dallas, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Denise Marlene Halbach, Mark Walter Halback, Marla Sutton Galvan Norris, Jill Nicole Galvan, David Kenneth Scola and Nancy Ellen Scola; and his grandnieces and nephews, Riley Claire Norris, Jett Olivia Norris, Jacob David Scola, Caleb James Scola and Otis Seward Galvan. Dale is predeceased by his parents, George Benedict Rabalais and Ada Marie Ducote Rabalais. He will be remembered for his affection, love of family, sense of humor and laughter. His loss diminishes all of us. Visitation will be held at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport, Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral home will re-open Friday at 8 a.m. until departing for services.
