Gerald Wayne Guillory

Funeral Mass for Gerald Wayne Guillory of Robert, LA will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont on Saturday, July 15th, 2023 beginning at 11:00am with Rev. Joseph Desimone officiating. Burial will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.

Gerald Wayne Guillory, age 72, passed away Thursday, July 13th, 2023 at his residence in Robert, La. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Thailand during the Vietnam War and was a retired machinist. Gerald was also an avid sportsman and loved to travel.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Carl P. Guillory (Brenda) of Moreauville, Foster Guillory, Jr. of Picayune, MS, Arthur H. Guillory (Kim) of Prairieville, La.; sisters, Brenda Savant, Rebecca Rabalais (Ned) both of Walker, La and Janet Kimball (Norris) of Plaucheville, La. He is also survived by his loving companion, Ruth Comeaux; her children, Chad Brackin (Laura), Laurie Brackin, and Andrew Comeaux; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Foster Guillory, Sr. and Gladys Newcomb Mayeux; his wife, Belinda Armond Guillory; stepsisters, Georgine Meisler and Teenie Dye; brothers, Foster Joseph Guillory and David R. Guillory.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Hall on Saturday, July 15th, 2023.
