Funeral services for Gladys Jane Francois of Cottonport will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Thursday, March 8, 2012, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and will resume Thursday morning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery 2.
Gladys Francois, age 87, passed away at the Bayou Vista Nursing Home on Tuesday, March 6, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Adene Lacour. She is survived by her sons, Terry Francois of Bunkie, Bobby Francois of Cottonport daughter, Elaine Michelle of Prairieville grandchildren, Steve Francois Casey Francois greatgrandchildren, Emily Francois Brett Francois.
