Glenn Dauzart, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at his home in Simmesport.
Glenn was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in life's little moments. He had a passion for big trucks, and his trusty red Kenworth reflected his hard work and dedication. Whether on the open road or close to home, Glenn truly loved the freedom and excitement that driving brought him.
When not behind the wheel, he enjoyed spending his time in nature. Glenn found solace and satisfaction in the art of fishing and the thrill of hunting ducks and deer. These outdoor pursuits allowed him to connect with the natural world and reflect on the beauty of life itself.
Above all else, Glenn cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, and a loving father but his face would light up with joy in the presence of his grandchildren, devoted to them and showering them with love and laughter. Glenn's deep love for his wife, family, and friends was evident in every moment he spent with them, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
Known for his light-hearted nature, Glenn had a knack for finding humor in every situation and loved to joke around and pick on those he held dear. His mischievous spirit brought laughter and joy to those around him, and his quick wit brightened even the darkest of days.
In addition to his cheerful nature, Glenn had a heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on the community he called home.
