Visitation for Gloria Jean Lemoine Dupont of Dupont will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 beginning at 4pm until 9pm at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville and will resume 8am Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 beginning at 11am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Marc Noel officiating. Entombment will be held at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Moreauville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Gloria Jean Lemoine Dupont, age 88, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home in Dupont on Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix, Sr. & Carrie Bordelon; first husband, Tommie Lemoine, Jr.; brother, Melvin 'Potsy' Bordelon; sister, Alice Simon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Aral John Dupont of Dupont; son, Benny Lemoine (Eunice) of Dupont; daughter, Cheryl Fontane (Joe Sena) of Deming, NM; step-sons: Allan Dupont of Denham Springs, Arlis Dupont of Baton Rouge, Mark Dupont of Minnesota; step-daughter, Jennifer Poole of Zachary; brothers, Hubert 'Boy' Bordelon, Stephen 'Joe' Bordelon, Felix 'Doc' Bordelon, Jr. all of Moreauville; sisters, Peggy Brown of Cottonport, Joan Bordelon of Lettsworth; three grandchildren: David Lemoine, Michael Lemoine, and Kimberly Pacheco; four great-grandchild; nine step-grandchildren and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
