Funeral services for Grace Marie Lemoine Mayeux
English, a lifelong resident of her beloved Plaucheville, will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014, beginning at 10am at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville. Visitation will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Sunday, January 12, 2014 beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will reopen Monday morning at 9am. Burial will be at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery in Plaucheville.
Mrs. Grace, age 86, born March 13, 1927 and passed away on January 10, 2014 at 4am at the home of her daughter Peggy Plauche. She was a devout Catholic and a loving mother, grandmother, and greatgrandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Estine Angela Lemoine her first husband and father of her children, L.V. Mayeux, second husband Taylor English sister, Addis Stafford Kimball brothers, Fulton Joe Dessie Mae Lemoine, Milbon Coco Lonie Lemoine, Wiley Bill Lemoine, Steven Doc Bertha Lemoine. She is survived by daughter, Peggy Plauche and husband Butch son, Kent Mayeux daughter, Judy Bordelon and husband Johnny grandchildren: Stacey Whitehead, Stacey Davis, Brady Bordelon, Mandy Jumonville, Jennifer Plauche greatgrandchildren: Alexandra, Dylan, Mya, Hayden, Taylor, Layla, Lee, Carlie a very special sister in law that was always there for her, Elline Lemoine and many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly and was affectionately called Nanan.
