Funeral services for Grace Normand Laborde will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 10:00a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer. Officiating clergy will be Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez. Visitations will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura beginning at 2:00p.m. and closing at 9:00p.m. A rosary will be said that night at 6:30p.m. and visitations will resume Wednesday morning at 8:00a.m. Grace Normand Laborde, age 92, passed away at Christus St Francis Cabrini Hospital on Sunday, May 17, 2009. She is preceded in death by her; father, Landry Mayeux, Sr.; mother, Adine Arreaux Mayeux; sons, Lee Paul Normand Donnie Normand; brother, Landry Mayeux, Jr.; husbands, Mark Laborde Lee Normand; sister, Ruby Villemarette. She is survived by her; sons, Nathan Normand of Mansura Marvin Normand of Hessmer; daughters, Narcille Guillot of Lafayette Dean Guillory of Hessmer. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, forty-seven great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home
