Funeral services for Harris Courville of Mansura will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at the St. Paul Catholic Church of Mansura, beginning at 1:00pm, with Fr. Chad Partain. Visitations will take place on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the Escude Funeral Home of Mansura, beginning at 4:00pm until 9:00pm, and will reopen the following morning at 8:00am. A rosary will be cited Sunday evening at 7:00pm and grave side services will commence at the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Harris Courville, age 76, passed away at the Tioga Manor Nursing Home on January 1, 2010. He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Courville parents, Delestone Amelia Courville brothers, J.H. Courville, Norbert Courville, Edwin Courville sister, Clara Ponthier. He is survived by his daughters, Catherine Fontainille of Alexandria, Lilya Hunt of Dry Prong, Mary Courville of Vernon, AL sons, Michael Courville of Beaux Bridge, Jamie Courville of Beaux Bridge, Patrick Courville of Buffalo, IL sisters, Laurice Martin of Angleton, TX, Anna Lee Mott of Angleton, TX brother, Ben J. Courville of El Centro, CA. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren 14 greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Courville, Patrick Courville, Jamie Courville, Benjamin Hunt, Matt Fontanille Dillion Courville. Cross bears will include Melissa Maupin, Jill Rivers, Samantha Courville.
