Harris Ducote

Funeral services for Harris Pierre Ducote of Plaucheville will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Dupont, beginning at 2:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall in Dupont on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, beginning at 9:00am and lasting until time of the funeral. Burial services will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery after the funeral. Harris Ducote, age 88, passed away at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home on Monday, October 19, 2009. He is preceded in death by his; wife, Aniece Plauche Ducote; son, Dale Ducote; daughter, Carolyn Ziegler; parents, Clemile Ducote Leontine Lemoine Ducote. He is survived by his; daughters, Jean Moreau of Slidell, Anne Meche of Metairie, Cathy Vickry of Greenwell Springs; sons, Steve Ducote of Plaucheville, Peter Ducote of Bunkie; sisters, Denise Bolner of Mandeville, Louise St. Romain of Plaucheville. He is also survived by his 20 grandchildren 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements and services are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
