Funeral services for Hayward Simon, Jr. of Marksville will take place at the Star Light Baptist Church of Hickory Hill on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, beginning at 11:00am. Visitation will also be held at the church Tuesday morning, from 9:00am to 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the Star Light Baptist Church Cemetery.
Hayward Simon, Jr., age 52, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, Hayward Simon, Sr. He is survived by his children, Brandon Simon and Jill Ashley Washington of Cottonport three grandchildren mother, Mary Sue Simon of Hickory Hill brother, Kenneth Simon, Sr. of Marksville sisters, Katheline Simon, Iva Simon, and Gilda Simon, all of Hickory Hill. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
