Henry Maten

Funeral services for Henry Lee Maten were held at 12 noon, Monday, December 20, 2010 at Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport. Burial was held at St. Anthony Cementery in Cottonport. Arrangements are held under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Cottonport.

Mr. Maten, age 66, of Cottonport, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Bunkie General Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Deaner Maten father, Leroy Maten two sisters, Edna Maten and Rebecca Richard.

Survivors include his wife, Ida Hayes Maten of Cottonport two daughters, Tracy Hayes of Cottonport and Gail Lavigne of Lafayette stepdaughter, Daphene Hayes of Cottonport four brothers, Isaac Maten of Innis, Michael Maten of Lettsworth, Louis Maten of Batchelor and Jay Maten of Innis six sisters, Amie Augustine of Mansura, Sadie McKenzie of New Orleans, Dorothy Lacey of New Orleans, Doris Bell of Houston, Texas, Ora Maten of Kansas City, Missouri and Annette Alexander of Hessmer nine grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren
