Memorial service for Henry Prescott of Moreauville will begin at 11:00am on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville with Fr. Jose Pallipurath officiating. Interment will be held on a future date.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say into the Lord. He is my refuge and fortress. My God; in him I will trust. Psalm 91:1-2.

On February 4, 1942, Henry Prescott was born to the late Belma Matthews Young and Freddy Prescott. He departed this earthly life for his heavenly rewards on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Prescott of Moreauville; four step-daughters, Rhashene Rhemm of Moreauville, Shawnte’ Taylor of California, Latoya Smart of Mississippi, & Britney Smith of California; four sisters, Mary Wilson of Bunkie, Susie Compton of Houston, Virginia Brown of Los Angeles, and Belma Butler of Memphis; 2 brothers, Will Young (Delores) of Houston and Hardy Young of Memphis. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Belma Matthews Young; father, Freddy Prescott; sister, Edna Young Wilson; and brother, Jeff Young.

Visitation will begin at 10:00am on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville.
