Funeral services for Henry Tassin of Denham Springs will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Friday, August 12, 2011, beginning at 12:00pm. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport, prior to the funeral service, beginning at 9:00am, with a rosary at 11:00am. Burial services will commence at the St. Marys Catholic Mausoleum 2.
Henry Tassin, age 74, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 9, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Anna Mae Tassin. He is survived by his wife, Rose Tassin of Denham Springs children, Patrick Chenevert of Kansas, Rodney Chenevert of Denham Springs, Renee Chenevert of Georgia, Melissa Chenevert of Georgia stepdaughter, Tammy Grant of Denham Springs sisters, Jeanette Richey of Paris, TX, Linda Lachney of Cottonport brothers, Don Tassin of Marksville, Bruce Tassin of Lafayette. He is also survived by ten grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren.
