Funeral services for Hilary Mose of Cottonport will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 beginning at 10am at St. Mary's Assumption Catholic Church with Fr. Abraham officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 beginning at 8am until 10am at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport. Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Fifthward. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Hilary Mose, age 77, passed away at the Veteran's Affairs Nursing Facility in Pineville on Thursday, July 30, 2015. He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Ray Mose; parents, Preston, Sr. & Mary Aymond Mose; brothers, Ambrose Mose, Alvin Mose, Milton Mose, Preston Mose, Jr., Willie Mose, & Orlin Mose; sisters, Clophine Toney & Annie Mose.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Mose of Cottonport; sons, James (Monica) Mose of Helen, GA, Davis (Kelley) Mose of Bunkie, Carl (Lisa) Mose of Hoschton, GA; sister, Rose Dufour of Big Bend and brother, Anthony (Lucille) Mose of Mansura. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Jamie, Sarah, Carl, Lisa, Liliana, Brandy, Raci; and five great-grandchildren.
