Funeral services for Hilda Parker of Mansura will take place at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church of Mansura on Friday, May 27, 2011, beginning at 10:00am. Visitations will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Mansura, prior to the funeral service, beginning at 8:00am. Burial services will commence at the Alexandria National Cemetery in Pineville.
Hilda Parker, age 89, passed away at the Hessmer Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. She is survived by her brother, Matthew Leonard James of Mansura. She is preceded in death by her parents, Julian Mary Day James sisters, Verdie Francisco, Letha Batiste, Bertha Francisco, Jane Francisco brothers, Joseph Pepper James, Spellman James, Alvin James.
