Funeral services for Hilda Williams of Moreauville will take place at the Our Lady of Sorrows of Moreauville on Saturday, September 11, 2010, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will be held at the Escude Funeral Home of Moreauville, prior to the funeral services, beginning at 7:00am. Burial services will commence at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Hilda Williams, age 82, passed away at her home on Monday, September 6, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jules Edward Williams daughter, Linda Louis grandson, Archie Allen, Jr. parents, Louis Louise Goody Cannon. She is survived by her children, Anthony Williams of Moreauville, Ruth husband Stanford Sampson of Alexandria, Cynthia Williams of Moreauville, Susan Williams of Moreauville brother, Alfred Cannon of Mansura sisters, Leona Callihan of Simmesport, Hazel Cannon of Houston, Roberta Hayward of Houston. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, seventeen greatgrandchildren, three greatgreatgrandchildren.
