Funeral Mass for Ida Francois of Cottonport will take place at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 beginning at 10:00am with Rev. John Wiltse officiating. Burial will take place at the St. Mary Catholic Mausoleum No 3.

Ida Francois, age 93, passed away the Riviere de Soleil Community Care Center of Mansura on Saturday, April 10th, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kathi Lachney (Larry); daughter-in-law, Diane Dufour; her eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Honored to serve as her pallbearers are: Larry Lachney, Randy Quebedeaux, Greg Andes, Bobby Francois, Perry Armand, and Bryan Dufour. He cross bearer will be Carter Couvillion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Angela Marcelle Francois; daughter, Lorraine Chauffepied; son, Joe Dufour; grandchild, Michelle Lewis; and her brother and sisters.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport. A rosary will be recited before mass at 9:45am.
