Irby Norman

Funeral services for Irby Ratchet Paul Norman of Simmesport will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 beginning at 10am at the Escud Funeral Home in Simmesport. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Escud Funeral Home in Simmesport beginning at 5pm until 10pm and will resume Monday morning at 8am. Interment will be in the Christ the King Mausoleum in Simmesport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Irby Ratchet Norman, age 64, passed away at his residence in Simmesport on Friday, May 16, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Irby Joseph Barbara Lee Henry Norman and brother, William Pookie Norman.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters: Murial Rusk of Moreauville, Patricia Norman of Lettsworth, Joycie Hess and Judy Mayeaux both of Simmesport two stepchildren: Ricky Dale Adams and Lisa Marie Adams and four stepgrandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Bobby Hess, Jr., Donovan Hess, Tony Rabalais, Charles Rabalais, Jr., Terry Toyo Bordelon, and Yogi Rusk honorary pallbearers will be DJ Perryman and Elliot Pabon Laprairie, Jr.
