Funeral service for Irene M. Ducote of Cottonport will begin at 1:00pm on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport with Fr. John Wiltse officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s No. 2 Cemetery in Cottonport.

Irene M. Ducote, age 66, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 in Alexandria, LA.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jason Gauthier (Holly), Jamie Gauthier (Sherrie), and Brian Gauthier; sisters, Betty Aymond and Bernadine Dauzat (Philip); brothers, Raymond Ducote, Billy Ducote, and David Ducote. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Brandon, Emily, Kaley, and Brady; and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilton Ducote and Doris Roy; brother, Anthony Ducote; brother-in-law, Karl Aymond.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 1:00pm on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport.
