Iris Travasos

Funeral services for Iris B. Travasos of Dupont will take place at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dupont on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, beginning at 1:00pm with Father George Krosfield officiating. Visitations will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Hall on Tuesday, July 26, 2011, from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume at 8:00am Wednesday morning. Burial services will commence at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
Iris Travasos, age 88, passed away at the Carpenter House of Baton Rouge on Monday, July 25, 2011. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shelby Mary Broussard Builodeau brother, Finely Builodeau. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Abner Travasos of Dupont sons, Hillary Travasos of Dupont, Steven Travasos of Slidell daughters, Deanna Mayeux of Metairie, Linda Plauche of Zachary foster child, Dorothy Guillot of Covington. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, seventeen greatgrandchildren, numerous greatgreatgrandchildren.
