Funeral services for Irvin Lee Gauthier of Cottonport will take place at the Bayou Rouge Baptist Church of Evergreen on Thursday, April 5, 2012, beginning at 10:00am with Rev. David Trimbur officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, beginning at 5:00pm and will last until services on Thursday morning. Burial services will commence at the First Baptist Cemetery of Cottonport.
Irvin Gauthier, age 71, passed away at Rapides Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents, Euris Lillie Redmon Gauthier. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Hukins Gauthier of Cottonport children, Christine husband David Campbell of Sunset, Sheila husband Dwight Juneau of Baton Rouge stepchildren, Chad wife Sherry Hukins of Hessmer, Sheila husband Jamie Aymond of Marksville sisters, Myrtle husband B.F. Lemoine of Simmesport, Shirlene Armand of Cottonport brothers, Marvin wife Lou Ann Gauthier of Bunkie, Russell Pam Gauthier of Cottonport, Gene Gauthier of Hessmer also fourteen grandchildren two greatgrandchildren.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
