Isma Escude

Funeral services for Isma Roy Escude of Mansura will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 beginning at 1:30pm at the St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 beginning at 11am until 1pm at Escud Funeral Home in Mansura. Entombment will be held in the St. Paul Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
Isma Roy Escude, age 82, passed away at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in Mansura. Isma enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles in her spare time she also enjoyed baking for family and friends. Isma also liked to travel and work on genealogy of her familys history. She was also a member of the Mansura Chamber of Commerce for many years and a LSU Alumni Federation. Isma was the owner and proprietor of Mansuras Victorian House Bed Breakfast.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur J. Escude parents, Thomas A. Estelle B. Roy brother, Thomas Roy grandson, Aaron Jeansonne.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children: Stacy Bordelon of Opelousas Jody Jeansonne of Kingwood, Tx Jay Escude of Dallas, Tx and Andrew Escude of Lubbock, Tx and her brother Clarence Roy of Longbridge. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
