Funeral services for Jackie Raper of Simmesport will take place at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport on Thursday, April 7, 2011, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will also be held at the funeral home, prior to services, from 9:00am to 11:00am.
Jackie Raper, age 70, passed away at his home in Simmesport on Monday, April 4, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife, Alma Raper. He is survived by his children, Terry Raper of Simmesport, Toni Gunn of Fifth Ward, Mike Raper of Mississippi, Dana Darbonne of Fifth Ward sister, Carolyn Raper of Texas brothers, Bobby Raper of Trakwood, AR, Larry Raper of Trakwood, AR. He is also survived by one grandchild.
Services and funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
