Jacqueline Rabalais

Funeral services for Jacqueline Rabalais of Simmesport will take place at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Saturday, February 19, 2011, beginning at 12:30pm, with Fr. James Nellikumnel officiating. Visitations will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Simmesport, prior to the funeral, beginning at 9:00am. Burial services will commence at the Christ the King Mausoleum.
Jacqueline Rabalais, age 87, passed away at the Bayou Chateau Nursing Center of Simmesport on Thursday, February 17, 2011. She enjoyed being outdoors to tend to her flower beds and to just be around nature. She also was a choir member at the Christ the King church for many years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wallet Eugenia Plauche Ducote husband, Harvey James Rabalais brothers, Harry, Clyde, Bert Ducote sister, Elaine Brown. She is survived by her children, Patrick Rabalais, Martin Rabalais, Ellen Bryant, Susan Duplantier, Kathleen Tassin sister, Geraldine Stephens, Delphine Nelson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Escud Funeral Home.
