James Chelette

Services for James Donald Chelette of Marksville will be at 10 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2009 at Escude Funeral Home of Mansura with Father Chad Partain officiating. Burial will be at St. Catherine Cemetery in Rosa under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura. James Donald Chelette, 64, died at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital January 8, 2009. Survivors include his wife Barbara Guillory Chelette of Marksville; two sons, Scott Chelette of Bossiter City and Gary Chelette of Warner Robbins, Georgia; two daughters, Michelle Dunn of Jennings and Jo Anne Jeansonne of Hessmer; sister, Elaine Dupont of Kenner; two brothers, Edward Chelette of Shreveport, Bobby Chelette of Pontchatoula; ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by father Ben Chelette and mother, Vera Chelette. Visitation will be Escude Funeral Home of Mansura Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and re-open Monday, 8 a.m. A Wake Service will be at 7 p.m. on January 11, 2009.
