James Desselle

Memorial services for James "Jim" Desselle of St. Francisville formerly of Bordelonville, will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church beginning at 11am. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville beginning at 8am until the time of service. Interment will be held at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Moreauville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Jim Desselle, age 74, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the St. Francisville Country Manor Nursing Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Eleanor Desselle; son, Danny Desselle; siblings, Louise Arnouville, Inez Desselle, Lloyd Desselle, Cleo Desselle, Raymond Desselle, Audrey Coco, Clifford Desselle, Leona Laborde, & Errol Desselle.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Desselle; daughter, Shawna (Keith) Dodds; daughter-in-law, Nicole Desselle; step-son, Bobby Bryan; sister, Eleanor Mitchel; brothers, Wayne and Jude Desselle. He also leaves four step-grandchildren: Jennifer Babb, Amber Bryan, Hunter Tassin, & Brittany Tassin and six great-grandchildren.
