James Adam Moore

Funeral service for James Adam Moore of Cottonport will begin at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Golden Chain Baptist Church in Cottonport. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. 

James Adam Moore, age 54, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Jasmine Laurent, James Moore, Jr., and Jarvis Moore; wife, Stephanie Laurent Moore; siblings, Brenda Bazile, Jackie Moore, Jacqueline Moore Bonton, Donald Ray (Sherrin) Moore, Ricky (Mary A. Jones) Moore, Sr., Johnny (Aretha) Moore, Sr.; half-siblings, Jimmy Caldwell, Pamela Jones, Shirley Friels, and Connie Adams. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Matthews Moore, Calvin Coolidge Moore, and Arthur Davis Caldwell; siblings, Calvin Moore, Jr., Frank Moore, Sr., Floyd Ella Jenkins, Betty Joyce Moore, Carolyn James, and Danny Moore. 

Visitation will begin at 10:00am until 2:00pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Golden Chain Baptist Church in Cottonport.
